Dr. Jeremy Korman is the best! When I had my consultation, he took me into his office and explained everything about the surgery, the options I had, and what it would cost. He explained the aftercare and risks as well. He is very knowledgeable, kind and sweet (plus incredibly handsome :) ). I had complete trust in him. After the surgery he visited my bedside every day. He has a wonderful, caring bedside manner. In my own personal experience, I was not impressed with the hospital, however. I believe they should have been more sanitary and nurses and aides could have been more caring and attentive. The office staff is a good staff for the most part. I would recommend Dr. Korman to ANYONE!

Love My Doc! Although he truly specializes in RNY, he is a fantastic Surgeon. He makes you feel very comfortable and will answer any questions you may have. I met him 1 year before I had my surgery ( I had to appeal) He took time to explain everything the pros and cons and his office has and excellent staff (Nutritionist, Nurse, Social Worker, etc ) and offers a support group and post-op care. He is a very competent and has a great bedside manner. My only complaint is that most of his patients are RNY and his support group has more GB patients. He is beginning to do more LB procedures and hopefully will have a LB only support group very soon.

MY surgeon .. DR. Jeremy Korman; He is very very nice , kind and he takes time to listen as well as explain the if and's but's. The office staff is very together as far as teamwork and being a nurse myself I know that teamwork is very important. I haven't yet found any dislikes about him or his staff. If you are planning on seeing this doctor make sure you are willing to do as you are told and follow all that you are told for the rest of your life because, he is in for the long haul. The risk of surgery are there but today they are far less and he will explain it fluently . Overall I rate Dr. Korman and his staff a 99 out 100pts.and I am sure He will earn 100 plus points afterwards post-op.If you think about Dr. Froid I believe the empathy and bedside care are still the best and needed in recovery. to recover. I will give more When I am on the losing side. Thank you

Dr. Korman studied with the doc that pioneered lap RNY. He is an amazing surgeon, I don't even have any bruises after surgery!! His beside manner is so warm and kind, he's almost flirting. Which is a good thing cuz he is such a hottie. I feel completely supported and cared for. He uses the same surgical nurses, and hospital nurses for every case. The team is so used to working together that they get great results pretty consistently. Now that my surgery is done, all of the after care is included for a year, no additional charge. I can see they Physical Therapist, the nutritionist and have psychotherapy with the LCSW on his team anytime I want to, no additional charge, for a year. This is such an emotional, anxiety producing process that it was really important to me that I be treated me with patience and compassion. I got both from everybody on the team. I'm sorry if this is so happy happy, or if I sound fake, but it really was a positive experience, all the way around.

Dr. Jeremy Korman and his team were wonderful! I could not have asked for a better group of people to take care of me in this situation. He answered all my questions and calmed my fears before surgery. I am almost all healed up and my scars... going away with each day that passes. This guy really knows his stuff!

9-12-06 Well, my 9 month post-op appointment went well. I was at approximately minus 141 lbs from surgery date. I was still stalled out at that point, and was frustrated. Since then I've dropped about 11-12 lbs. Oddly, I've only been working out at Curves about 3x per week, versus 5 times a week back then. I have been doing other exercise as well, but I'm planning to head back to Curves 5x a week now that I can't swim anymore. My husband and I took some updated photos last night. I can see that I've lost weight, but I have a real hard time looking at the pics because I see how far I still have to go. My current photos look like many peoples' "before" pics. It's difficult not to compare. I find that my best weight loss comes from eating about 900 calories a day. My mom told me that we're what she calls 'easy keepers'. We don't require as many calories as most people do in order to maintain our weight. Some people have told me that if I'm exercising I should eat more ...

My 1st impression of Dr. Korman literally was how old he was, cause he looks almost my age. My impression changed after asking a few basic questions and his knowledge of the surgery and how beneficial it was to obese people. His office staff at first I was a little shy but after getting to know them they are the best I have been around. What i like about my surgeon is that he has a good sense of humor. I would rate him overall with a 10!!! :)
